The Lord is my shepherd,
nothing shall I want.

In pastures green I rest,
and nothing do I fear.
For when I need anything
he is there like water fresh and clear.

He guides me in his ways
of lasting love and care.
And even though through the darkness I walk,
I know that he'll be there.

His bounty fills my days,
protecting me from foes.
He fills my life with his justice and peace;
my cup now overflows.

His goodness follows me.
